GuideWell includes several key entities: Florida Blue, the leading health insurance company in Florida; Florida Blue Foundation, its philanthropic affiliate; Triple-S Management, a leading health care service company in Puerto Rico; and Fundación Triple-S, its philanthropic affiliate.
The report demonstrates the progress GuideWell made last year towards increasing access to high-quality health care, reducing health disparities, improving mental well-being, addressing food insecurity, and equipping its workforce for the future. It also examines how the organization’s business model enables a more human-centric and sustainable path forward for health care, with affordability front and center.

Notable highlights from the report include:
- Established an AI governance framework to ensure ethical use of AI.
- Completed more than 360,000 virtual customer assistant chats using conversational AI.
- Opened 10 new medical clinics in Florida and Puerto Rico to increase access to affordable, quality health care.
- Awarded $2.4 million to enhance mental well-being services and support for people across Florida.
- Allocated $250,000 to 10 nonprofit organizations to address loneliness and social isolation for the people in Puerto Rico.
- Supplied 20.8 million meals to strengthen food security programs across Florida.
- Invested $5 million and established a nonprofit organization to strengthen the health care workforce pipeline in Puerto Rico.
- Donated more than $1.5 million to support individuals affected by natural disasters in Florida and Puerto Rico.
- Provided $31.2 million in charitable giving to improve the health of local communities throughout Florida.
This is GuideWell’s fourth consecutive year releasing its impact report. While the report highlights initiatives and solutions implemented in 2024, it also celebrates GuideWell’s growth and reach over the last 10 years and the work the company continues building upon to improve health outcomes for the millions of people and communities GuideWell serves.
