Charlie Joseph

Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Legal Officer

Charlie Joseph is executive vice president, corporate affairs and chief legal officer for GuideWell and Florida Blue. He is accountable for leading the company’s corporate affairs group, which includes Board Governance, Business Assurance, Business Ethics, Integrity and Compliance, Enterprise Communications, Legal Affairs, Public Affairs, and Community Engagement. He also serves as the Senior Legal Advisor to management and the board of directors on a wide range of matters.

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the River Garden Hebrew Home, an elder care facility in Jacksonville, Florida, and as a member of the boards of directors of Jewish Family & Community Services, Jacksonville University, and the Jacksonville Symphony.

Charlie holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Hamilton College and a juris doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the New York and the District of Columbia bar associations. He is also certified as Authorized House Counsel under Chapter 17, Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
